Ghosts, also called Spirits, are the souls of deceased animals or people that can appear in a visible manifestation to the living.They are "Paranormal/Supernatural" Spiritual beings that can only access their Ghost powers after they die by brutality,suicide or natural death.
The Spirits trapped or stuck on Earth are either there because they cannot move or have unfinished business ,but they can go to Afterlife worlds planes of existence : Heaven (for Good),Purgatory(for Cleansed) or Hell (for Evil).
The only known Ghost/Spirit that has appeared in Hemlock Grove Tv series is a deceased female character known as Destiny.
- In Christian lore it is said that Celestialsapian being known as God created "Univeres:Earth,Sun,Moon,Stars and Afterlife Realms or Worlds such as :Hevean,Purgatory and Hell",but he also created Human Souls also known as Spirits or Ghosts"
- but beyond Human Spirits there he created at "Beginning of time species of Angelic winged beings (Archangles,Guardian Angles and Fallen Angles/Demons) : in Christian religion and belief ,Devil once known as Lucifer Morningstar first creation and lifeform of God became evil and led alongside his "Fallen Angles" in a rebel war wich they lost,and were banished from Hevean to Hell from then on both Lucifer and his Fallen Agnles became known as "Demons" which Lucifer becoming Satan or Devil but alongside his demons the Source and Supreme Evil in Univeres"
- There is a theory and belief that since in Hemlock Grove Universe the Werewolves,Upirs,Witches,Jormungandr and Vargulf exist ,which all share occultic "Paranormal/Demonic" origins and history then they all originate and gained their powers and abilities as different species from folklore,mythologies and religion it could be that they all originate from Satan a fallen angle and demonic being which is said to be Source of All Evil
